Q: What type of welding process can you perform
A: We can perform GMAW (also known as Mig), GTAW (also known as Tig), Stick, Spot, FCAW (also known as Flux Cored Arc Welding), Brazing, Silver Soldering and Thermal Arc Spraying.
Q: I would like to get some aluminium welding done, which process do you recommend?
A: Depending on the size of the work to be completed, Tig welding gives a superior finish on intricate or visually important components. Mig welding allows for larger or thicker materials to be manufactured in a cost effective manner as welding speeds are greater using a continuous electrode.
Q: I would like to get some stainless welding done, which process do you recommend?
A: Depending on the size of the work to be completed, Tig welding gives a superior finish on intricate or visually important components. Mig welding allows for larger or thicker materials to be manufactured in a cost effective manner as welding speeds are greater using a continuous electrode.
Q: I have a one off component that I need produced, can you do this or do you only produce production runs?
A: We perform both jobbing (small batch, including one off) and production (high volume) work.
Q: I have broken/damaged my machinery, can you repair it or does it have to be manufactured from scratch?
A: Depending on the component or how severe the damage is, many items can be repaired to like new condition. If not, then we can look at reverse engineering and manufacturing a new component to get you up and running. As we offer an offsite equipment and machinery repair facility and a production engineering workshop that is able to produce OEM quality products you can have the best of both worlds. We have these services in both fabrication and machining departments.
Q: How do you keep track of my job?
A: We utilise the assistance of a fully computerised system that tracks the job from entry of the order to the despatch of that same order.
Q: After manufacture, are you able to produce a drawing for reference for next time?
A: Yes we can offer full drawings including solid models if you wish.
Q: Can you supply a lifting jib for my telehandler?
A: Technically yes, however generally no as we need support from the manufacturer of your telehandler. Generally speaking, have your OEM supplier contact us and we can work with them on the manufacture of your new telehandler lifting jib.
Q: What drawing formats can I send you?
A: We can receive a large number of format types. The most common is dwg, however we can accept anything form pdf files to hand drawn sketch’s on napkins!!
